We hope you’re enjoying the sunny weather. The warmer temperatures have made us think about overseas events; so I’ve been looking at incentive travel destinations, and incentive programmes as a whole.

As the economy recovers, a recent industry report suggests incentive travel is once again on the rise amongst corporates. So should you run an incentive programme? A professionally run sales incentive will not only ensure your staff and customers are motivated and happy, but will see your sales figures soar, with a proven return on your investment.

A well constructed incentive travel programme is about more than the final trip… but we’ll save the logistics for now and skip to the good bit… destinations!

As the year goes by and we whizz into the warmer months, it seems our clients are thinking about their summer plans, as we’ve been busy working on a fair few parties and summer events. These include a famous London theatre and an event with some ‘good vibrations’ at a racecourse – I’ll share the pics and details once they’re done!

Happy Birthday to us…

We’re in the mood for celebrating here at W2, as March marks our first birthday! It’s been a busy year establishing W2, quickly using our years of industry experience to create a known and trusted brand amongst clients and suppliers alike.

Whilst we’re on the subject of celebrations… many of our current projects seem to have a celebration in mind. Whether it’s a company anniversary, celebrating staff success, or summer and christmas parties; our clients are certainly recognising the importance of celebrating.

Celebration events are vitally important to your business. Wally’s Xmas Message

xmassmallAs 2013 draws to a close; it gives me a chance to reflect on the happenings of an eventful first year. Early 2013 saw the creation of W2, and ever since then we’ve not looked back. On launching W2, we flew into the marketplace quickly becoming a well known name, becoming a presence for suppliers and clients new and old.

Ever since we’ve ran a good selection of different events for clients, each of which has been extremely successful with some great feedback. We appreciate its sometimes not easy for clients to put their faith in a new brand and trust us with their important events and incentives; but many of you have and we’ve gladly repaid that trust with first class events and service.

W2 may be a fairly new brand, but we’re based on long established relationships, over 21 years in the MICE industry, and the experience of thousands of events and incentive programmes of all shapes and sizes.

2014 looks set to be a successful year, with many events confirmed and lots more prospects, we look forward to working with you in 2014!

Last week we made the short trip up to the Cotswolds for an outdoor team building activity event. The weather was kind and all guests had a fantastic day, proving a simple afternoon of traditional team building fun is a great addition to any event.

I read with interest a recent industry report that suggests Incentive Travel is once again on the rise amongst corporates. Read the article here.

The report states: “Leading into 2014, meetings, events and business travel will continue to remain critical drivers assisting organisations in their efforts to reach their strategic business objectives and effectively communicate with their employees, customers and partners worldwide.”

What does that mean for you? Well, it quite simply means a proffesionally run sales incentive will not only ensure your staff and customers are motivated and happy, but will see your sales figures soar. Morning all…

It’s been a busy time here at W2, so just a quick round up of the last few weeks. Back to work fun…It may be depressing that the days will soon be getting colder and shorter, but it’s an exciting time of year for us as it’s when we (and our clients) turn our attention to those Autumn conferences, and dare I say it, Christmas! A motivational meeting in a location away from the office will get business brains buzzing, and enable staff to concentrate fully on all things business.

Summer ’13 at W2

Blimey, it’s been such a busy time here at W2 that I’ve not posted for a while. Purely coincidence the lack of blogs has coincided with the recent heat wave….

Anyway, let’s get you up to date. Even though it’s the summer holidays, (traditional a bit of lull in the corporate events world) we’ve had a busy time of it here with events, proposals, pitches and site visits.

The events have included an event at the Berystede hotel, hospitality at Ascot, and Sandown Park, continuing our successful incentive programme for our client. Here’s a picture of some happy clients at Sandown, before any bets were placed!

Chris recently attended The Meetings Show UK where it was nice to catch up with some familiar faces and make a few new contacts. With the amount of events industry exhibitions the diary is a bit saturated, but this one looks like its here to stay with a successful first year.
